Description:

Found on fallen branch of mature beech on the edge of Dartmoor. I only found this small example, but was struck by its unusual colour.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

When there are 28 records of

When there are 28 records of Chlorociboria aeruginosa and 3670 records of Chlorociboria aeruginascens I think we are on fairly safe ground going for the latter.
