Abdomen & thorax colour

I agree with the identification, but don't agree that the colour of the thorax and abdomen is in anyway useful for the identification.

The colour of the wings is a useful initial clue (it would be expected to be orangey-brown, or darker brown, on most Beautiful demoiselles). The position of the false pterostigma is also useful, particularly when the distance between the node and false pterostigma is compared to the distance from the pterostigma to the wing tip (a ratio of around 4:1 in Beautiful, and greater than 4.5:1 in Banded - usually more).
I would not be at all surprised to see a female Beautiful Demoiselle with the abdomen and thorax this green, or even greener, in August.
