Description:

Large tussock-forming sedge with decidedly sharp leaf-edges. Tussocks are about 1m high and somewhat more than that across (outer edge of leaf expanse). Growing in the ecotone between wet Salix/Alnus woodland and Juncus-effusus-dominated grassland.
