Foliose lichen
Foliose lichen
Description:

A foliose lichen on the wooden deck of a jetty on a freshwater loch. Reminiscent of Palmeria sulcata ... but is it too flat and lacking the networks of white pseudocyphellae on the surface?
Edit: 2nd photo added (I think of the same species.)

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Two species

The first is Parmelia (sulcata or saxatilis). The lobes do have elongate pseudocyphellae, but not as well developed as they can be. The second looks like Platismatia glauca.

Both look to be in a sorry state.
