Description:

Far, far too many of these about. What a terrible din! Spoiling lunchtimes and calm evenings. Drowning out all the natural soothing sounds such as native birdsong, rush-hour traffic, etc. Resident now in every London park and spreading north.

Bird wringing

I like the way your spelling of the ID seems to fit your description! ;)

Go placidly...

pest

yes Tarby thanks for your comment. They need to be rounded up and dealt with somehow. You go for an evening walk on hackney marshes golf course, to watch bats and hobbies, and the evening is spoiled by the awful racket made by these birds. It's worse than traffic. Not to mention taking over all the holes

Do not go gentle...
