Description:

One person who has looked at these (in addition to me) agrees with my reading of the number on the wingtag. What do people here think, can you read it (post comment below).
There seems a general consensus that it is WT15 which makes this a male (known by the name Red Phillip) and for a few years partner of the bird shown at http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/311275 and recently the partner of the bird shown here http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/311732 - more details here http://friendsofredkites.org.uk/page13.htm#a.

15?

Overall I would go for 15 (but in some photos it looks a bit like 25 or 18 or even V5).

Ray Turner's picture

15 or 18

I would also go with 15 but in one photo (2139) I could easily be persuaded it says 18.

15

I am for 15

Tarby's picture

25 or 15

In the first two photos -> 25
in the last three -> 15
I'm convinced the second digit is a 5

squint

If you squint when you look at it the focus is better I would say 15

Thanks

To all who have responded with a reading of the wing tag.
