Why not add an identification - I'm sure you are right and there is no punishment for getting it wrong!
You are right, Rod, so why not add the ID yourself?
My Flickr photos...
..with everyone Chloromyia - go for it!
Many thanks Mark at Magdalen, Ian and Gramandy. I'm quite new to Ispot, and up until now I've put a question mark if I'm not quite certain, as it's sometimes when I'm more or less certain that I find I'm wrong. I'll have to have a re-think.
Mark of Magdalen Would that be Cambridge, I wonder, or perhaps the Oxford version? (If the latter, less than a titanic performance on University Challenge yesterday evening. As someone from St John's of many moons ago, I was almost embarassed for them.)
..not the answer really - this is only for things that do not fit the other groups. So your entry should go into invertebrates whether or not you are sure (as it's a fly). Always worth a punt as we have all had things that we don't know. No prizes for being right and no recrimination for being wrong. We are a learning culture group and we all learn.
Have a go especially when you're right and heh ho what the hell if you're wrong. Usually someone helps. :)
I've added it for you, Rod, as you seem reluctant...
Try it yourself, next time!
