The red flowers were observed at Tsitsikamma National Park near Knysna SA.I have had trouble identifying these two. Are they from the same family?
No identification made yet.

Hi, it might be worth posting these on the South African site

Try googling "fynbos everlasting" and then go to images there might be some possibilities there.
One observation with seemingly two species. Remove one? Fairly old submission.
Please separate this into two observations.
I believe, common name is False Everlasting - widespread from Ceres to the Outeniqua Mtns which includes the Tsitsikamma. It is noted to fade to white with age, but the leaves on the white specimen are possibly different? Edmondia sesamoides is a possibility for the white... don't know where you found it; can only take a stab anyway.
Locality is in Plett and not Tsitsikamma - where in the park?
