Dorycera

A very scarce fly, red data book category 3 ('rare') and a BAP species. The Thames Estuary marshes are its UK stronghold.

Ulidiids

a second Ulidiid collected at this location today, this is the closest match I could find http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/247319

Don't know anything really about this family. A bit like Psilidae - a bit mysterious.. suddenly don't know where they're all coming from, or how on earth one could have missed them before
