Description:

Not sure about this one as I haven't got a close-up of stems to see ridges, if any - they appear round and smooth but with a few black spots. Leaves have very marked translucent spots and also black spots.Petals, sepals and anthers all have black spots or streaks.

ID comment

Hi Geff, the 2 stem ridges are visible in image 4.

Geoff or George?

Either way, photo 4 is a lovely, lovely shot of the translucent dots in the leaves, which I have always taken as the main ID point for this species.

Thanks, you have both

Thanks, you have both confirmed my thoughts. The translucent spots were the clearest I have seen and the black more pronounced, so maybe a good specimen. (Rachy, Geff are my initials GF!)
