I was going to put it on the ABFG forum to make sure as it is a first for me and I was rather excited when I saw what it might be and I cannot think of anything else that looks like this
I do agree with ABFG but I wouldn't have got there by myself. Oh dear I have a lot to learn. I do find resupinates fascinating but there doesn't seem to be a lot of literature to help identify them beyond a few common species.

I though it was best changed I have now got to the end of 2012 with all my OS grid ref's and names and I was surprised that I have found 154 different fungi in 2012 all I have to do now is learn how to put them on the CATA data base and I think it may take some time.
As for books I to have not come across any books on resupinates will have to keep a look out
