Single Waxwing - no sign* of the flock of 2 weeks ago.
No interactions present.
Just heard that there was a flock of 70 Waxwings at location about 300m from where I saw this solitary one! (Will have a look tomorrow.)
My local flock reduced from 400s two weeks ago to 40s yesterday. They move on to better pasture. They nearly ate all the berries in the wood.
I thought the small flock I saw two weeks ago had moved on but I located them (or another new flock) today. Now numbering over 100. Adding two new photos - I was able to get much closer this time. The only problem was that they were being harrassed by a Sparrowhawk - it attacked (unsuccessfully) 3 times while I was there.
