Description:

Nectria-like perithecia of a lichenicolous fungus on immature Physcia (tenella or adscendens) on Magnolia stellata. Ascospores colourless, muriform, ellipsoid to elongate, often acuminate, with 0-2 'tails' (some hooked) and numerous oil droplets, 19-38 x 9-13µm (19-51 if the tails are included).
