Ocydromia

the only other Ocydromia we get is melanopleura, which is darker and has dark legs, and which barely registers on its nbn map. Yours looks like glabricula taken in the shade - I've just checked my specimen and it looks darker like yours until it's turned to the light

a nice late sighting, I've not seen one for a few weeks

Ocydromia

Thanks for the info. I posted another late-ish fly in ivy to Dipterist Forum - it was a (Sciarid)fungus gnat.
