I assumed that this species

I assumed that this species only had single growth period per year and that counting these would approximate age. I was shocked with the number as this species is quite a destructive white rot, even with two new grow layers a season 25y still seems wrong. This was found in a large swamp on private land so Im not doutbing it could of been unmolested for that period just doubt the tree could survive this period.
