Cetti's Warbler
Cetti's Warbler
Description:

A skulking red-brown bird, slightly larger than robin. Grey face & underparts with a dark line through the eye. The tail was often cocked, and when splayed showed a rounded end. It was making a series of loud harsh monotone calls whilst exploring low down in the waterside bushes and reeds rather than its usual explosive call. Apologies for the obscure photos it was a real skulker.
