Sorry, defintely not Mus musculus. The shape of the mandibles is wrong and although there's no scale, the skull looks too big in relation to the size of the hand.

Its definitely not a shrew. Featherandhay is right, this is definitely a rodent (diastema and incisor show that) and the apparent shape of the teeth in the lower jaw look like vole to me, although without a closer look couldn't say which, could be bank vole or field vole.
Its a vole, but which? As said above need to see the tooth root or the surface of the teeth. I also think it is probably the field vole but can not be certain without more information.
