Myrmecodia beccarii "southern form"

The spineless southern form is found in a far smaller region than the latitudinally widespread northern form. The accompanying orchid is Dendrobium (Cepobaculum) tattonianum. It is rare to see non myrmecophyte epiphytes surviving in ant-house epiphyte habitats.
