Gosh!

Is it? Living inland, I see lots of black headed, a fair number of lesser black backed, an few great black backed, and the odd herring gull. Common gulls are, for me, UN-common!

Common Gull

I would agree with Mydaea, image 3 appears to be a Common Gull in winter plumage (yellow legs, speckled neck, yellow bill with black band). The 2 left hand birds in image 1 also look like Common Gulls. The right hand bird in image 1 looks to be a different species and the bird in image 2 I'm unsure about at the moment.

Right hand bird

looks like an immature Common Gull.

All the birds look like Common Gulls - I look froward to confirming these if somebody wishes to submit this id

All the best
