Description:

Group of small brown mushrooms growing among weeds on wood chips in border of a car park.
Cap up to about 3.5 mm across, flat, greasy, buff-coloured with slight paler umbo, fine shallow radial wrinkles and pale, neat margin.
Stem 4.5 cm long, 4 mm across, off-white with longitudinal fibrils, fluffy mycelium at base and short white lines/grooves just below gills.
Gills adnate, buff, about 20 meet stipe with two tiers of intermediates.
Spore print black.
Spores oval (Q=1.9), smooth, mostly very dark brown under microscope, some lighter with a few greenish blobs inside, apical germ pore, 8-10 x 4.5-5 µm.
Pileipellis cellular.
Cystidia - two shapes noted: one like a group of balloons on little stalks; and another like a banana.
