Description:

This robust clump of Kniphofia has been flowering for many months and was still flowering on 18th November. Kniphofia is listed in the Flora of the Isle of Wight as an established alien species particularly in the vicinity of cliffs in Ventnor, where it no doubt originated as a garden escape.
