I don't know!

Thanks - my son's camera is better than mine!! It has been coming for several days now, such a lovely neat bird. I've had Pied Wagtails before but haven't even seen these in the area. It hasn't been that cold here - yet. Its been such a pleasure to see, especially as we have been having our kitchen completely redone and I've hardly looked outside for weeks.

Garden Grey Wagtail.

Would you have a water feature in your garden?
I would not have expected one in a suburban garden, unless there was flooding through it!

jhn7's picture

Not really.

No flooding here or nearby. Only three bird baths at different heights and a small raised pond which has steep sides and is not accessible. No water (stream or lake) for a couple of miles. Apart from a small patch of Ancient Woodland up the road and Playing Fields with copses and a seasonal pond (full at the moment) about a mile away we are surrounded by housing and bordered by the M4. I could hardly believe it!!
