Actually found on side of an iced-over water trough, in the early sun. About 10mm
No interactions present.
I would say it's a Damsel Bug, possibly Himacerus apterus but it is only recorded south of the Humber. Still looking.

That certainly looks good on British Bugs. The size and antennal length seem right. I'll let you add it, Chris. Thanks for your help...bugs are not my thing, as you know!
I wouldn't worry too much about the range, plenty of southern species creep across the Humber!
