Description:

On rotting fence posts. C+ red, sterile thalli of convex, blue-grey areoles with green-grey soralia. Photobiont cells green and paired. No obvious pycnidia at x50, but examining thallus fragments reveals swarms of ellipsoid, conidia-like cells, c. 5-10 x 2-5µm.
