Photographed this lichen amongst fallen branches and leaf litter in mixed woodland, mainly coniferous with some beach and ash

I'm certain this is one of the Cladonia species but I'm afraid I don't know them well enough to tell you which one. The differences are very subtle.
I was trying to work out if the pycnidia are red or brown. If red, I'd go with Cladonia polydactyla.
Unusually green for C. polydactyla, but perhaps very damp. Yes, I think that's what this is, but best left as an ID to genus I think.
Thank you both for your time with the ID of this lichen, just one last question, is it good policy to now rename the photo or keep as unknown lichen.
