I nearly always see these birds in flight and rarely static but these 2 were perched high in a tree warming themselves in the early morning sunshine.
No interactions present.
I've been trying really hard to spot some red kites in cornwall, what is there general flying pattern i.e height,speed,glide etc
When you see one there's no mistaking one. They do of lot of circular soaring which can be at quite low level. They are usually seen much lower than Buzzards.
