Other than the suggestion that you try to see if the leaves are opposite or alternate, as that is a basic ID characteristic: and if you can get a closer picture of the leaves, that also helps.
I find it very hard to take clear photos of trees, especially with a camera phone: sometimes it helps if you hold a branch steady with one hand. Also, you can often find fallen leaves on the ground underneath the tree, and they are more obliging about staying still while you take a photo!
