Sorry that the pictures aren't very clear but any ideas about this one?

It isn't easy to make out from the photo', but if it did jump, it could be what I call a thrip - often common in stored grain and feed - chicken corn and suchlike. About 3mm long.
Probably not a thrip, but I have no idea of latin name either.
It wasn't a thrip. I'm very familiar with those. If you go outside here in July and August, you end up covered in thrips!!
