Description:

Perfect umbrella shape. Found under pine trees on a bed of pine needles. Sample moved to daylight for photograph

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Clitocybe

I agree it looks like its a a Clitocybe. I think it may be a Clitocybe metachroa given that it was found in coniferous woodland. Thanks

I do have another photo of the specimen which I took on the day. Once an observation has been posted how do I subsequently add another photo to the observation or this not possible?
