I think there are too few secondary veins in the leaf for Sorbus aria. It might be one of the other whitebeams, but I'd suggest an apple (Malus).
I think you're right about the veining but it's not an apple...
... Frangula alnus could well be right. (I usually need flowers or fruit to help me identify that species.)
But I expect a smoother appearing leaf from Frangula alnus.
The leaves look too soft and thick to me for Frangula alnus. They also seem to lack the waxy surface, but perhaps this is only a feature of mature leaves?
