Description:

I found this in the wash basin in the bathroom, must have lost parts of two legs on the way up through the plughole. Overall (including legs) not more than 15 mm. It appeared more red than the pic shows.

Spider lost its legs a while

Spider lost its legs a while back as you can see the regrowth. Br almost good as new next moult :-)

plug holes

insects you see coming up plug holes have ,some time earlier ,gone down the plug hole.
There is no other way for them to get in there or to get past the U bend.
It's just that baths and sinks act as pit traps and insects fall into them from the rim
