Looks like a Common Marbled

Looks like a Common Marbled Carpet Jon, without an underwing view to seperate from Dark Marbled Carpet these are usually IDed as an aggregate of sorts, youve possibly seen it before- Chloroclysta citrata/truncata.

For what its worth it looks more like truncata(common) to me and the flight time would suggest it is also, citrata doesnt seem to fly so late.

There is a suggestion that Dark Marbled Carpet may emerge in September and October in the Bristol region, but this hasn't yet been confirmed.
