This has the look

Of a Wood Blewit about it to me, but without photos of gills (and a better look at the stem) I'm not sure that the learned ones will be able to say with any confidence.
Fungi are difficult, and as much information as possible (odour, "feel", surrounding trees) are often essential for identification.

Thanks..

..to everyone who has commented. I've checked online for other images of the Clouded Funnel and seen it's sometimes called the Clouded Agaric and the images I've found all seem to match the instance I saw.

I don't intend to eat it (or any other Fungi) I just wanted to know common and latin names to caption the photo for competition use.
Thanks again.
