Coniferous woodland

My id notes didn't seem to get saved - iSpot can be quite temperamental! I didn't think these were on birches, but I may be wrong, I'll look again on a future visit.

All were on dead stumps or snapped trees but in a largely coniferous part of the wood.

The bark does look like birch

The bark does look like birch with a stand of conifers in the background. Best to check it though.
