Green Sandpiper

Green Sandpiper is a slimmer bird, compared to the chunky Grey Plover. It has a bill which appears almost twice as long and is far thinner, and the upperparts are very dark in comparison.

Further to Ophrys' comment

Green Sand' is a shy wader which bobs it's rear end. Grey Plover (along with other species of Plover) has a step step wait movement. Quite a distinctive characteristic.
