You have the names inverted and is that Latin name correct?

I think the latest name is Ardea alba

Just looked up Casmerodius albus and it appears to be a synonym.

Thanks. I lifted the Latin name out of Collins Bird Guide 2nd edition without checking. The excitement of finding a local rarity must have affected me
