Description:

Clustered on a rotting stump in my local park,these have distinctive chestnut/dark brown caps and the curved stems are markedly different below the remnants of what I thought might be a ring - below they are scalier, above smoother. Spore print was a rich, dark brown.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
