This is the scientific name used in UKmoths and probably recognised by iSpot also, I agree with your ID of Mullein, lovely caterpillar!
I got the scientific name from my Readers Digest field guide to butterflies of GB. 1984. Don't expect them to be all that accurate but it is a much easier to use guide than the Collins one I also use, has all the caterpillars in one section!
The best thing to do Ken, and it will save you bother also, is to use 'Get Recommended' when you are posting your ID. Add the English name and press get recommended, the recognised scientific name will automatically appear.
