This is little seen on iSpot Douglas, its one I attempted to find close to home this year, without success. I dont know just how widespread it is in Britain but it has only ever been recorded at one site in Ireland and it just happens to be quite close to me, 15 miles or so.
Thats a lovely specimen, I must try a bit harder next year.
Its a lovely moth Douglas. I havent seen any Yellow Ringed Carpets other than the illustrations in Waring. It looked quite like one.
