Very large amount's on a large fallen Beech could be Ascocoryne cylichnium or A.sarcoides but need microscopy to determine which

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

It also says beech to which is a bit annoying if they both do,will have to keep an eye out on the Larch
