Not a bird I have had much chance to age and sex, but both those you have put up are first year birds. Adults would have the tips of the primary feathers with a white edge around the tip and up the other side a little. being first years makes them harder to age, but this one, with a clear edge to the black throat (rather than a diffuse edge), is probably a male. It also has a lot of red waxy tips to the secondaries/tertials. On the same basis, the other one may be a female, but I am not sure.
