Description:

Former woodland area, with lots of rotted leaf litter recently taken over as garden. These have been sprouting for most of the Summer, with this one just appearing now. They do not turn to an "inky mess"
Height and cap diameter each about 5" / 13 cm

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

My initial thoughts were

My initial thoughts were "Shaggy Parasol", but most pictures I've seen have a ring / membrane just below the cap, which these do not have.

You are on the right lines -

it looks like either a Parasol or Shaggy Parasol. Put an identification in, and let's see what the clever people say about it.
