I was out picking Sloes to make sloe gin for christmas, i also make fruit wines and i was woundering what these berries are ?

Welcome to iSpot...I look forward to seeing more of your sightings. I am not a million miles from you, on the other side of the Vale of York. Alder Buckthorn is quite widespread, but you usually find just odd, scattered bushes, so it is easily overlooked.
