Description:

Emerging as dark slate blue rough globes before transforming into beautiful blue convex caps with velar remains. Blueish green stem with white scales up to ring zone, from then on paler & smoother. Gills pink, darkening with age. Caps flatten with age, shading pale blue, yellow and red. A large outcrop of these spotted under an ornamental crab apple.

Identifications
