Insect sitting on budleia flower - wings look to be rolled up to resemble twigs.

Plume moth

Either a Beautiful Plume (Amblyptilia acanthadactyla) or a Brindled Plume (A. punctidactyla). In Scotland the Brindled Plume has a near white thorax and tends to be paler than southern specimens.
