Don't suppose you tasted it

Don't suppose you tasted it did you? I have a suspicion that although it superficially might look like calocybe it might actually be a russula, were the gills and stem very brittle? if you had tasted a little bit it might have been rather hot as some of the russulas that look a bit like this are.
i am not sure enough of this to change id, what do other people think?

Taste?

I don't taste fungi I find in the wild; I expect I don't have to explain why! Thanks for the comment. I will note that it might be a Russula.
