I remember yours last year Janet it was lovely and we questioned if the colour had anything to do with the PH of the soil or wood

I didn't realise the colouring was this variable - now that I know it's a turkey tail, I can clearly see that it is, if that makes any sense! Thank you for the identification!
By the way the blue turkey tail is stunning - it must surely be the soil; that sounds like a good explanation.
