might be lepista nuda, were there others and what colour was the stem, l.nuda has purplish stem.
the stem was the same colour as the cap, it wasnt purpleish. Yes there were loads of them randomly placed, not in any obvious ring
defo smelt mushroomy and not odd or distinctive or perfumy
did it produce a spore print and if so what colour was it.
