Seemingly everywhere at the moment, so no surprise that one has come your way. The acorn crop has failed in northern Europe, apparently, and so they are streaming westwards in search of food. Flocks have been seen on the East coast, coming in to land off the North Sea. I am seeing them every time I go out, and their raucous call is a real sound of this autumn.

Seen lots of Jays out and about. In the New Forest the trees seem devoid of acorns so poor pickings for the Jays here. Hope they manage to find something to eat instead. I have had one in the garden already so hopefully sunflower seeds will be a good substitute.
