Description:

The only fruting grass species in Hough Common (an acid woodland). A bunch grass, with narrow, branched, infructescences. In the process of dieing back.

Molinia

It looks like Molinia, but it is hard to be certain. Molinia ligule is a ring of hairs which not many other grasses share.
